PRAYER REQUESTS

Ø  Please keep Guy Brown, who fell and broke his hip last week. You may send cards to Nathan and Deborah Brown’s house (220 Sam Thomas Road, Harvest, AL 35749) and Nathan will take them to his dad.

Ø  Ditto Family: “Pray for Corey Sheaks who is recovering from heart surgery.”

Ø  John Kuhn Family: “Please pray for Traci Browne as she deals with recurrence of breast cancer. Also, for Bridget Friday as she has complications of ruptured appendix.”

Ø  Kathleen Lowery: “Monroe is now 3 ½ weeks old. Doctors have closed up his chest and removed all drainage tubes. We are so grateful for your prayers! The little guy still has a ways to go, but seems to be on the right track.”

Ø  Jared McCall came forward stating he is struggling with anger towards his dad. He is seeking that God will help him find forgiveness.

Ø  Stephany Moore: “I’m getting my board’s results this Wednesday or next Wednesday. Please pray that God’s will be done and that He continues to guide me in my career. Thank you!”

Ø  Please continue praying for Louise Williams. She is doing much better after being in the hospital earlier last week in Colorado. She is scheduled to come back to Huntsville Wednesday evening (October 12th).

Ø  Mothers-In-Waiting: Karin Bell (11/3), Marjie Nance (1/2/23), and Kat Nambo (2/2023).

SYMPATHY

Our sympathy is extended to the family of Gloria Bragg (former member and step-mother of Greg Bragg), who passed away Saturday night, October 8th. Visitation will be at the Berryhill Funeral Home on Thursday, October 13th, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by her funeral. Graveside will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Oneonta, AL at 2:30 p.m.

TRUNK OR TREAT

This year our Trunk or Treat event will be on Monday, October 31st, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. We will need lots of help with the following:

  1. Kitchen Helpers (We are providing hot dogs, chips, cookies, popcorn, and water.)
  2. Meeters & Greeters
  3. Lots of Candy – Need in case some of our cars run out.
  4. Decorated Vehicles (Please note if you are decorating your vehicle, you are also providing candy to give out at your vehicle. You will also need to be here early in order to set up and be ready by 6:00.)

Everyone is invited to come and help in this event. Please be praying for the church and this outreach to our community.

PARKING IN THE LINCOLN AND HOLMES PARKING GARAGE ON SUNDAYS

We understand that some of you may have had to pay for parking Sunday, September 25th. It was found out that they had a problem after they had lost power. It has been corrected and the parking is free on Sundays. Thank you to all who are able to park in that garage as it leaves parking spaces for those who are unable to do so.
